From Magister Lvcentinvs, Master´s Degree in Intellectual Property and Digital Innovation, we would like to thank the OEPM for its collaboration in the inauguration of the Trade Marks and Designs Module of the 32nd edition of the Master´s Degree. This presentation was delivered by Ms Inmaculada Redondo Martínez, Deputy Director General of the Distinctive Signs Department at the Spanish Patent and Trade Mark Office, and provided an initial overview of the Office´s work on distinctive signs such as trade marks, trade names and geographical indications. We would particularly like to highlight the publication of Royal Decree 1190/2025 on the national procedure for geographical indications of supra-regional artisanal and industrial products. The presentation was opened by Professor Nuria Fernández Pérez, Professor of Commercial Law at the University of Alicante and Director of the Trade Marks, Designs, Copyright and Competition Module, together with Professor Vicente Gimeno Beviá and Professor Marina Vázquez Esteban, Trade Marks and Designs Coordinators.
