Plant breeding as a driver of global food security: by selecting and genetically improving crops, breeders can obtain varieties that are more productive, pest-resistant, and adapted to climate change, which directly translates into higher crop yields and lower costs for farmers.
At the Magister Lvcentinvs, we train our students in this sector, which has made plant innovation a lever of economic and geopolitical power.
These sessions, delivered as part of the Magister Lvcentinvs specialisation diploma led by Professor Esperanza Gallego, in cooperation with professors Nuria Fernandez, Pilar Iñiguez and Pilar Montero demonstrate how the Magister Lvcentinvs remains permanently at the forefront of specialised training across all areas of Intellectual Property.
