Last week, at the Magister Lvcentinvs Closing Ceremony, we celebrated the closing ceremony of the International and hybrid Specialised Course “Bussines and Intellectual Property Mediation”.
It is with great pride and heartfelt gratitude that we celebrate this course, a true reflection of the passion and unwavering commitment of its directors: Dr. Jur. Theophile Margellos, MCIArb and Altea Asensi Merás, and excellently coordinated by Jaume Llorca Galiana. At Magister Lvcentinvs, we are committed to going further. This course reflects our drive to broaden and strengthen our students; training, providing them with the skills and tools to differentiate themselves and rise to the challenges of the professions of the future.
We would like to express our deepest gratitude to EUIPO – European Union Intellectual Property Office Boards of Appeal, the President Sven Stürmann, and Mr. Gordon Humphreys, Accredited Mediator and President of the First and Third EUIPO Boards of Appeal for the speech addressed to the mediation students in which he emphasized the relevance of mediation as alternative dispute resolution in IP and business cases. Thank you for the invaluable support to this specialised course and for the commitment with the young graduates!
This programme is a result of the commitment of the Commercial Law Area of the UA – Universidad de Alicante / Universitat d’Alacant, guided by professors Esperanza Gallego and NURIA FERNÁNDEZ PÉREZ, with the cooperation of professors Pilar Montero, Pilar Iñiguez and the Commercial Law UA team. The implementation of this diploma is also possible thanks to several UA units, namely thanks to the Centro de Formación Permanente Universidad de Alicante under the leadership of the Vicepresident of Permanent Education Ms. Rosabel Roig Vila, Teresa Torregrosa and her entire team.
