On 10 June 2025, we celebrated a very special moment for us: the closing ceremony and graduation of the 31st class of the Magister Lvcentinvs, Master´s Degree in Intellectual Property and Digital Innovation at the UA – Universidad de Alicante / Universitat d’Alacant .
We are at a loss for words to express our gratitude for the commitment and support we have received at this ceremony, which puts the golden seal on a year full of challenges and opportunities for our students.

Thank you to the Rector of the University of Alicante, Ms Amparo Navarro Faure, for her support for the Magister Lvcentinvs programme by chairing this 31st edition of the ceremony.
Our warmest appreciation to the President of the European Patent Office, Mr António Campinos, for his inspiring speech, in which he highlighted the essential role of education in innovation for technological development and for addressing current challenges.
Special gratitude to the Executive Director of the EUIPO – European Union Intellectual Property Office , Mr. João Negrão, for having accepted to be the godfather of the 31st Promotion, as well as for his engaging speech highlighting the importance of intangible assets for the success of businesses.
We would like to thank the Director General of the OEPM ES, Elisa Rodriguez Ortiz , for her ongoing commitment and support for the specialised, high-quality training in Industrial Property and Digital Innovation offered by the Magister Lvcentinvs programme.
Our thanks to the World Intellectual Property Organization – WIPO, represented by Mr Victor Owade, Adviser on Academic Institutions and Executive Programmes, for its support for this leading training programme in a field that is essential for the development of countries.
Thanks to the CNMC (Comisión Nacional de los Mercados y la Competencia), represented by Mr Javier García-Verdugo, Head of Economic Advice at the CNMC, and its President, Cani Fernandez .

Our gratitude to all the attendants of this event, professors, students, family members and friends of the Magister Lvcentinvs. Special thanks to the Magister Lvcentinvs team, particularly professors Esperanza Gallego, NURIA FERNÁNDEZ PÉREZ, Pilar Montero, Pilar Iñiguez and all their colleagues of the Commercial Law Department, also all the Departments of the University of Alicante providing outstanding collaboration in the development of the programme, as well as Antonio Cabot Saval, Director of INFORMACIÓN, for his support in this event, which illustrates the position of both the University of Alicante and the city of Alicante as leaders in specialised education in Intellectual Property and Digital Innovation.
We could not feel more privileged by the presence of such distinguished authorities and institutions at this event.
