Yesterday began the 33rd edition of the Master’s Degree in Intellectual Property and Digital Innovation at the UA – Universidad de Alicante / Universitat d’Alacant
On this first day, the students of this new course had the opportunity to visit the facilities that will host the Master’s sessions and to meet the entire team from the Commercial Law Department, responsible for the direction and coordination of the Master’s programme.
This welcome day was led by Prof. Esperanza Gallego, Full Professor of Commercial Law, Director of the Intellectual Property and Digital Innovation research group and Director of the Specialist Title in Plant Breeding and Distinctive Quality Marks; Prof. NURIA FERNÁNDEZ PÉREZ, Full Professor of Commercial Law; Director of the Department of Commercial Law and of the Specialist Title on Trade Marks, Designs, Copyright and Competition; Prof. Pilar Montero, Full Professor of Commercial Law and Director of the Magister Lvcentinvs and Prof. Pilar Iñiguez, Full Professor of Commercial Law and Director of the Specialist Title in Patents, Technology Transfer and Digital Innovations.
In addition, the students had the opportunity to meet the other programme coordinators, alongside distinguished lecturers as prof. Jorge Moya, Altea Asensi Merás, Vicente Gimeno Beviá, IGNACIO RABASA MARTINEZ, Andrea García Martínez , Marina Vázquez Esteban , Alejandro Llopis Blanque, Jaume Llorca Galiana, Miguel Cano Menor, Álvaro Asencio Gallego and Marta García-Romeu.
We were also joined by our collaborators and distinguished lecturers: Alberto Casado Cerviño, Commercial Law Professor and former Vice-President of the EPO, former Vice-President of OHIM and former Director of the SPTO, and Dr. Jur. Theophile Margellos, MCIArb, honorary commercial law professor and Co-Director of the Diploma in Business and Intellectual Property Mediation.
