From the Commercial Law Department and the Magister Lvcentinvs, Master’s Degree in Intellectual Property and Digital Innovation at the University of Alicante, we would like to congratulate the AIPPI Grupo Español on the success of the 41st Study Days, held in Madrid from 26 to 27 February 2026.
This event featured the participation of Professor Esperanza Gallego, who addressed recent case law on designs and copyright in her presentation entitled: “When the Boundaries Between Design and Copyright Overlap”. Professor Pilar Montero discussed the legal framework of the new geographical indications for craft and industrial products in the European Union, and Professor Vicente Gimeno Beviá focused on recent case law concerning distinctive signs.
