Magister Lvcentinvs, Master’s Degree in Intellectual Property and Digital Innovation at the University of Alicante, would like to express a special acknowledgment and gratitude for the celebration of the 6th International Conference on Digital Piracy, organised by Magister Lvcentinvs in cooperation with the Motion Picture Association.
The conference was directed by Professor Esperanza Gallego, with the collaboration of Pilar Montero. The event was opened by Rafael Molina Carmona, Vice-Rector for Digital Transformation at the University of Alicante; Ignacio Gally Muñoz, Dean of the Ilustre Colegio de la Abogacía de Alicante; Professor Nuria Fernández Pérez, Head of the Commercial Law Department; and Chris J. Grab, on behalf of the Motion Picture Association.
During the conference, attendees were able to analyse the latest developments and cases related to digital piracy, particularly the impact of artificial intelligence on the protection of intellectual property rights.
This analysis was carried out with the participation of leading experts such as Jesús José Tirado Estrada; Carolina Pina; Ana Cariño from the OEPM; Mónica Dopico; Alberto Ubaldo Navas García from the CNMC; Mercedes Hernández Villar; José Luis Gómez Pidal; Carlota Navarrete; Ziga Drobnic from the EUIPO; Juan Fernández Tamames; as well as Chris Grab and Lynn Chehab.
The conference was coordinated by Ignacio Rabasa Martínez and Andrea García Martínez García, and has become a key event for all those interested in the protection of intellectual property rights in the digital environment.
