DR. ANTÓNIO CAMPINOS, PRESIDENT OF THE EUROPEAN PATENT OFFICE, DELIVERS THE KEYNOTE SPEECH AT THE 29TH EDITION OF THE MAGISTER LVCENTINVS

The Magister Lvcentinvs, Master of specialization in Intellectual Property and Digital Innovation of the University of Alicante held the opening ceremony of its 29th edition. The Opening Conference was given by Mr. ANTÓNIO CAMPINOS, President of the European Patent Office (EPO) and Doctor Honoris Causa of the UA. Other distinguished speakers included Mr. José Antonio Gil Celedonio, Director of the Spanish Patent and Trademark Office, Mr. Francesco Mattina, President of the Community Plant Variety Office (CPVO), Ms. Patricia García-Escudero Mª. Patricia García-Escudero Márquez, Director of the Academy of the European Union Intellectual Property Office, Mr. Fernando Candela Martínez, Dean of the Bar Association of Alicante (ICALI) and Ms. Pilar Montero García-Noblejas, Director of the Magister Lvcentinvs Master in Intellectual Property and Digital Innovation of the UA. The event was chaired by Mr. Luis Alfonso Martínez Giner, Vice Rector of Academic Planning and Teaching Staff of the University of Alicante, representing the Rectorate of the University of Alicante .
This event demonstrates how edition after edition, the Magister Lvcentinvs remains at the forefront of specialized training in Intellectual Property and Digital Innovation allowing to maintain the leadership of the University of Alicante which is an academic reference in the field, both nationally and internationally.
